We had the ultrasound last Friday (3 days ago), and Dave told his Dad that it would take me all of about 24-48 hours to buy something pink! Well, I haven't yet (boo-yah, Dave), but I was at Target today, and passed by pink baby clothes, and of course I stopped to look at them, and I started to tear up because I can actually get that stuff now for my own daughter. It was a pretty great feeling.
Dave and Spencer are excited too. Spencer has been wanting a "little sister like Chloe" (his little cousin) since he found out I was having a baby...that is, he wanted a sister up until a few weeks ago, when I casually mentioned that we should get some princess movies if the baby was a girl. His face went very somber and he said, "What." And in that instant, he changed his mind and wanted a brother! Luckily, he really is very excited just to be a big brother, and still wants to name the baby "cutie." Oh also, the other day, we were just sitting on the couch, and he turns to me and says, "Mom, I love your baby." (He always refers to it as "your" baby.) He is such a sweetheart. I love that kid.

Amanda, we're so excited for you! It really is too much fun to shop for girls. You'll love it! Oh,and I'm sure she'll have Dave and Spencer wrapped around her finger in no time.
